On the heels of Cyborg Nation we developed an idea for a show about the tech leaders of today. The market for such a show was saturated, but we felt that no one had truly captured the personal and emotional side to the success of some of today's greatest leaders. So, we wrapped the show around one core question: What was the most formative moment of your life? With this, Formative was born.
We brought the show to Reddit, who had expressed interest in getting into the branded space, and with them we sold the series to Google as a brand partner. The show is currently in release, having already featured the likes of Robert Herjavec (of Shark Tank), Casey Neistat (of YouTube fame), and Nick Woodman (of GoPro).
In the first two months of its release, the show's designated YouTube channel has garnered over 1 million views and counting.
